Evanston Panasonic CF-20 laptop not being able to connect through its internal SIM card and LAN connection to the Processing Unit 
at the same time was remedied with the following registry key being deleted. Windows 10 only (version 1709). 
   

Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Wcmsvc\Csps\cspethernet

TRY THIS FIRST: 

In the Registry Editor, navigate to HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WcmSvc\Local 

Create new DWORD value named fMinimizeConnections with the value data set to 0 

Test connectivity 

 

If #1 didn’t work, try this: 

In the Registry Editor, navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WcmSvc 

Create new DWORD value named IgnoreNonRoutableEthernet with the value data set to 1
